We're just finishing up on painting the master bedroom. After all the paint drama around the office and my mom's room (which she affectionately calls "the nursery"), I was glad to finally find a paint color that I like at first site. I'm still considering repainting the office and mom's room. After months of picking paint colors last winter, I settled on a few from Behr. Then this Spring, in a last-minute decision because of the Home Depot paint sale, I chose a handful of Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams paint colors when I wasn't even on location. That was real stupid. Now I'm regretting not buying the Behr colors I originally chose.

Patrick is now updating all the electrical outlets and light switches while I move my attention to the hallway. Before I know it, we will need to start furnishing the place and I hope that I find the headboard that I love. Last fall, I was so inspired by a DIY blog post that I thought I was going to make my headboard using a 5-panel door. But after years of internet and blog searches, I'm fairly certain that I would much more prefer an upholstered headboard. We go to Las Vegas each year and we always stay at the MGM Signature Suites. That's when my love affair with the upholstered headboard began.










While these are very nice headboards, I really would like more modern lines.
